1 x Centennial Methode Traditionelle
1 x Colours of the South Pinot Gris
Finniss River Pinot Noir – From a family owned vineyard located 75kms south of Adelaide, in the cool maritime climate of South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula, known as the Currency Creek wine region.
Centennial Methode Traditionelle – Centennial Vineyards can fairly claim to be at the forefront of Sparkling winemaking in Australia – this wine is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir, 37% Chardonnay, and 3% Pinot Meunier and was one of only two wines to be awarded Gold in this class.
Colours of the South Pinot Gris – From the Purple Hands winemaking team coomes this new label, designed by Adelaide artists Oliver Reutens – an abstract depiction of their southern Barossa vineyard with the dam, paddock then the rolling hills covered in vines. The Pinot Gris was hand picked and whole bunch pressed, a small parcel was transferred to older French oak and underwent indigenous yeast ferment with the balance fermented in stainless steel. Both the tank and barrels were lees stirred on a regular basis to build mouthfeel and complexity.
